::Good points: Location is amazing, price is reasonable for an onsen hotel. Bad points: outdated hotel, rooms are old and dirty, we had mold on our bed covers, the real disappointment was the cleanliness of the hotel restaurant. We saw trash on the floor in several places that had been there the previous day. They had a kids room and arcade that was closed in the mornings? Also the smell in places reminded me of a heavy bleach smell.

::The rooms are quite old, without aircon. We were asked when we would need the room to be cleaned when checked in. We said 12:00 am around midday when we are outside. But when we came back the room wasn’t cleaned. The receptionist apologized for no being able to assign staff to do the cleaning. Inside of the onsen is very dirty and slippery. A little girl felt and had her foot injured and bleed. There wasn’t any first aid box in the entire floor in 1st floor, and no one at the reception answered the phone. Only got some basic plaster when limping up to the front desk at 5th floor. The staff is polite but the quality of organization is bad. Breakfast queue is long. Arrived at 08:00 but only got a table at 08:30 whilst it stated clearly there won’t be any food service after 08:30… Kitchen cutlery ran out quickly due to big volume of customers. The supply was not efficient. People often needed to wait for a plate or a spoon. The room aircon didn’t work. It was so hot inside of the room. We asked for help and only got a fan. The air outdoor is actually confortable but we didn’t dare to open the window since they put a sign warning people from opening windows during to flying in insect. Overall, it’s a bad experience. It’s not common in Japan.

::Advised as hotel, spectacular traditional Japanese rooms, yet needed some improvements in basic facilities. Laundry not working, off the table. breakfast basic, to work on. Spa nice outer space. One or 2 night is a good staying.

::Rooms were old and dated but clean. We stayed over the weekend of GW, so everything was crowded but staff at dining area tried their best. Onsen was large so didn't feel too crowded. Although the room was non-smoking, there was strong smoke smell in the lobby areas.

::Good value for money if a little dated. After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant staying here but it wasn’t all that bad! Yes, the rooms were a little dated but they were clean and comfortable. Onsen was great and open after midnight. Yes, there were particulates in the water but they didn’t bother me. The breakfast was fully staffed and there were no issue with tableware or good. The location was a little hard to get to. There is a shuttle service but definitely let them know ahead of time so you can reserve seats. Some parts of the hotel are still closed (second restaurant and game center).
