::We decided to visit the Onsen here after a 4 hour trek in the nearby trail. The Onsen wasn't really crowded and had a very calming effect. There is an outdoor onsen as well, but it would fit only 2 people at a time. The resting area was nice and had vending machines as well.

::Went for the onsen after a day of hiking. It's a nice onsen. But all the wood has seen better days. The entire area around the inn has seen better days. The Inn is the only building with all of its windows intact. Beware that this is the only toilet within 5km.

::Beautiful spot!!! Quality of hot spring is lovely, opened from 12:00- 8:00 for guests. Always river sounds can be heard. Wanna repeat to stay.

::Think this is one of the legend still stands! Lovely onzen and truly healing! The “ruins” (one small and one big development in front) is pretty stunning when I visited. Wonder what will that like in the near future.

::Good room, in a large hotel. Lovely sound of nearby Waterfall all the time. Inpersonal service. Split gender spa/washroom. Many hotels in the area have closed and fallen derelict. Do the walk up hill to view the famous Waterfall. Beer vending machine downstairs, great after a days cycling.
