The ryokan staff were very friendly, and the interior had a cozy atmosphere. Despite the facilities being old, they were well-maintained and felt clean. The bedding in the accommodation was very comfortable and nice. Above all, the onsen facilities were incredibly satisfying. There were various hot springs, and they were open until 9 a.m., allowing you to enjoy them late into the night.

Only used the day onsen but really did not make it to the price. They charged 1200 yen per person which is extremely high so you will except that onsen is having multiple baths and basic necessity are given. 1. They only let you use one onsen which has nothing special - one inside and one small outdoor. They popularize having 17 types of baths but those are for hotel guest. Ideally charging 1200 and then too limiting is quite bad! 2. They provided soap, shampoo and conditioner but no cream. So even you pay 1200 yen be ready to carry you small cream. 3 there is no sauna, no cold bath nothing for day use which is very unfair! Big hotels give all of these for day onsen usage Staff agreed is friendly but given the price and restricting day onsen people to use until 7pm then you should not limit the baths. Fools like us paid unnecessarily better to use K house one at 700 and pretty much similar!

I only used a hot spring. It was an old hot spring and an open-air bath, but it was better than the picture.

Excellent! Highlights: Thoughtful and unique kaiseki meals, unlike any I've had before and really recommended! Helpful and friendly staff Spoilt for choice of baths, plus not crowded Very comfy futon Unlimited free mineral water Other great stuff: They had our room ready a little early The cafeteria area and fireplace were lovely to relax in Very easy to walk to ropeway and right by the bus stop Nitpicks: It's probably about due a little renovation Would have loved a more Japanese style dessert, not big coffee/tea fans so having those flavours on the side would have personally suited us better.
