::The Showa era may be an exaggeration, but it is a fairly old type of hotel. The clock on my desk had AM/PM reversed. If you use an alarm, we recommend testing it. The LCD screen itself is so bad that it's hard to see. The room was quite spacious and relaxing. Close to Goryokaku City Tram Station, easy access Breakfast service details are unknown as it has not been used. This is a property that we can recommend as you can stay at a very low price. The retro key is cool ('ω')ノ

::I was able to stay in the city at a reasonable price. The breakfast service includes white bread and boiled eggs. The coffee is Misuzu Coffee, so it's delicious and you can have as many cups as you like. The hotel itself is old, but feels clean. The bath is a traditional business hotel bathroom with pump-type rinse-in shampoo and soap. There are no electrical outlets near the bed. Free Wi-Fi available. The parking lot is in a multi-story building next to the hotel.

::Although there are some concerns such as age and dirt, the room, bed, and bathtub are spacious enough. The front desk is very responsive, and since it's near the downtown area, there are Lucky Pierrot and many places to eat and drink within walking distance, and there's a parking lot, so I think it's convenient for getting around by car or public transportation. By the way, Misdo in Hakodate has its own pricing.

::I booked it because it was cheap and because of the location. It was convenient for transportation, with the city trams and buses in front of Chuo Hospital or Goryokaku Park close by on foot. Even my mother (in her 70s) said it was easy because it was close. The hotel is old, so some parts were rickety, but the bed was low and perfect for my mother. The breakfast included free bread and boiled eggs, as well as unlimited coffee, latte, and cocoa, which was a big plus. There is no makeup remover, so it is better to bring your own. The staff was kind and helpful. I stayed for several nights, and the cleaning staff worked carefully and greeted me with a smile whenever I saw them, so I felt it was a nice hotel. If you don't mind old hotels, I highly recommend staying here. I personally rate it so highly that I would consider using it when I go to Hakodate.

::It was exactly as described, plus helpful staff.
