  The host is super friendly and helpful. Also, the location is perfect! Just 2 minutes walk from Hakodate JR station. Most importantly, the price is just so cheap! Simply wonderful.

  Small inn, seems like a modern Japanese house with lots of rooms, kitchen couldn't be used tho, and the owner will teach you about the manners and functions of modern Japanese way, which I find very amazing and functional! Yes, functional. And the friendly old lady owner was a very nice person! She couldn't speak English well, but she tried the best, and conversation was enough for understanding. The inn has 2 shared bathrooms in the lower floor and 2 toilets in the upper floor with 3 washbasin with drinkable water. The water might look a little blurry at first, but I assure you, it's safe and fresh. And if you let it stay still for a couple of minutes, it will look clear. The room is spacious for 2 people, with 2 futons and a Japanese pillow which we find very good for posture and cured our little back and neck pain after a whole day walking in frozen winter wonderland! It also comes equipped with nice "hita" (heater) which we set on full power, and ended up opening the window at 4am because it got too hot(the temperature was -7C outside at that time). A small foldable table was also available in the room. Oh and, the room has tatami floor on the bed part! It was very nice. And two yukata (Japanese cloth that looks like simple kimono) was provided in the room, I used it inside the place, it was very nice indeed. Overall, for foreigners I would highly recommend this place so you can feel how it is to live in a modern Japanese house and learn some of Japanese way of living! For Japanese, it should feel like at home..

  Small but cosy hotel. Very good location. Near to JR station and Morning Market. About 5 mins walking time.
