  I stayed in a Japanese traditional style room without a bed, it's cozy and full of sun light through the big window. The shower room is tiny and spotless. Close to the station, next to the Morning Market square and easy to get to Motomachi area, Kanemori red brick warehouses...on foot or by street cars in only few minutes. And with friendly old owners, the price is reasonable, this hotel is 9.5/10 for budget travellers

  i stayed here for 2 nights during winter (february 2024) with my husband, we book the japanese type room we arrived around 9 pm, and the futon and tatami was already seto up, the heater was also on the room itself has a vintage vibe, and we like it so much small, compact, but functional, and very clean the location is very close to hakodate morning market, lawson, hakodate JR station, bus terminal. we also tried to walk from the hotel to redbrick warehouse, not so far only 15 mins. i guess this hotel is runned by a family and they are very nice, they even gave us complimentary snack when we arrived

  Pro -Good location -Hotel owner is very friendly 😊 -Near Jr station -Near morning seafood market -Very good and spacious room ,considering quite low price Con -Air-circulation in room are shared among between non-smoking and smoking room. So you would somehow smell the smoke in air ventilation.

  Fairly budget hotel for a short stay. It usually charge for extra people in the room at 500 yen, but the owner waive me the additional. The room size is good to unfold 2 luggages. Choice of restroom in unit or share shower room. The room smell cigarette smoke, but air filtering machine is provided. Shower room is fairly small but enough space to do business. Breakfast and elevator are provided. Convenient location. Friendly service and quiet place.

  Owner, an elderly gentleman is a wonderful host. My 3 children loved his presence. Can feel that he is genuine towards guests. However hotel is rather dated but deserved a 4 star due to its proximity to the morning market.
