::Liked · Right by JR station, bus stops, and tram line runs in front of the hotel. Walking distance to the morning fish market, which I went to get breakfast. Very convenient location. It may looks out dated, but the room is actually quite comfortable. Great value as well.

::The standard twin room was large and spacious with semi-double beds, chairs and a table that I don't normally get in Japanese budget hotels. The hotel is located near the JR station which makes it very convenient to explore Hakodate. Breakfast is included like other comfort hotels and the quality was just fine. The problems were, the building and facilities are old, the bathroom is small compared to the room size, the only one elevator makes it very inconvenient in the busy times. Overall, it is good for value.

::Our preferred lodging in Japan is Comfort Hotels. They offer budget-friendly rates, convenient proximity to train stations, and delightful complimentary breakfast(5:30am-9:30am). Additionally, they provide a welcoming drink from 2 pm to 12 midnight and include complete toiletries and sleepwear. Despite being affordable, their accommodations and customer service maintain high quality. For our future visits to Japan, Comfort Hotel chains will likely be our go-to choice.

::The hotel itself has a nice location which is across JR Hokadate. But the room however isn't good as the window is facing a wall. It's depressing. Free Breakfast and welcome drink is good. If you don't mind a room without a view. It should be fine. The room is clean. But the pillow are so low and it's not comfortable at all. The hotel only have 1 elevator so be aware if you need to catch a train. You gotta check out earlier.

::The hotel is around 10-minutes or less from Hakodate station. There was one woman who spoke English very well, but I was also able to get by with the ones who didn't. They were very efficient. The elevators were very slow and often seemed to take a detour to get to my level. The room was cramped but about average or a little below for Japan. It was rather clean and had anything you would need. However, the room was quite humid and the AC, despite putting it on the highest setting, didn't do much. The breakfast was complimentary and of average quality, though they did have a lot of variety. The laundry was also quite cheap for ¥200 for washing and ¥100 for drying (for 30 minutes), ¥50 for detergent. They also had a free ice machine. If visiting, I would likely stay here again (not in the summer). I recommend this as a no-frills hotel that is well worth the price.
