::You can see a beautiful view from the window with mountains covered with snow. Breakfast is free and fine including some local food like Tamakon. The staff is helpful. It is a 5 minute walk from Yamagata station. Booking from the official website is the cheapest.

::I just really liked this place, something about it made me feel at ease.

::The location is very convenient as it is really close to JR Station, also to the mall, the ruins of the castle, and in front of a supermarket. The rooms are quite big for japanese standar and even offers free buffet breakfast which is really good, and it is suitable for people going to the towns or ski resorts surrounding the city because it is served from 6:30 to 9:00 am. You can even take the food to go because it has lunch boxes that you can fill with the buffet. The only inconvenient I found in the hotel is the bed, because it's a little hard. But overall I enjoyed my stay here. The views from the rooms are also so beautiful.

::This hotel is near the Yamagata Station, it is so convenient. The check in is quick and easy. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is so delicious and also healthy. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room rate is reasonable.

::This particular Toyoko Inn is located a 5-minute walk from Yamagata station's west exit, with low-cost parking for those who drive. It is practically identical to every other Toyoko Inn, which is great - reasonable prices, free breakfast, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi in every room, and all of the standard amenities you'd expect from a business hotel. As with any other business hotel, the room is not large, but decent sized for a single traveler or a very close couple. It's also mostly designed for single night use - while they do have discounts for longer stays, the rooms have no closets or drawers to unpack into, meaning if you are staying longer, you're living out of a suitcase. Still, that's a fairly minor gripe, and the quality and low price (especially when combined with their member's card) means Toyoko Inn is usually my first choice when booking a hotel.
