::The hotel is well maintained and looked after, it is old but clean. the staffs are nice and helpful, even though there is no breakfast and dinner service provided, there are a lot of choices in the Onsen street, just a couple of minutes walking distance. The staff even helped to book restaurants which has 10% discount, I should have asked the staff earlier! The location is very close to the 上の台 main lift, rental shops everywhere. The hotel has 宅急便 delivery service, I just left all of my snowboard luggages to hotel then the staff helped me to fill in the sheet and sent the luggage to airport, really saved the effort of carrying heavy luggages! One package to Narita airport charged around 3000 yen including 660 yen airport storage fee. Last point, this is not a 5 star luxury hotel, this is a 3 star or more like a backpacker hotel with shared kitchen, set the right expectations!

::Spacious Japanese style room with a great view. Friendly staff and service. Some staff speak English and some doesn't. Flexible check in time and process. There are many entertaining facilities but I just used the Onsen, which was great. You can walk to the bus stop, but just be careful as the road can be full of snow and slippery.

::Zao bus terminal is near but the way to the hotel is a bit steep. The staff does not speak English at all so just bring your phone with you. The hotel doesn't offer any food, even if you pay for it. The staff were not responsing the emails and couldn't be found after 8 pm. The room for 2 people is average. It is a bit old but overall clean, and there is no shower in your own room but we understand because it is a traditional Japanese onsen hotel. The hot spring it self is not big and also clean. The biggest disappointment is that there are no food avaliable since after 2 pm, all the restaurants were closed and the opened ones are not so cheap.

::Self Checkin and Overall Service. The shared bath was small but okay for a small group of 8 to 10 people max. The cold water didnt work and some areas like the shower and bathrooms weren't that clean. For Entertainment, the have a Billiards Table and Table Tennis avaIlable, with some board games and cards (can borrow for free)

::The rooms are really old, and the air conditioner doesn’t work right. Looks like the fire alarms might not work. Has a decent Onsen that is open 24 for people staying. They provide a nice breakfast.
