  We stay here for 2 nights. This ryokan is modern style. Room is very nice and spacious, Onsen is great (both public and private onsen) but the best is outdoor onsen on the rooftop. The dinner is very delicious indeed and they serve lot of different dishes. The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. Highly recomnended for those who enjoy excellent onsen and very delicious food.

  Food was great. Onsen was alright. Rooms were clean and had a nespresso machine, but we could hear voices coming from the next room. Staffs were very friendly. Special thanks to Ishikawa-san (male staff) and Mami-san (from Thailand).

  Very affordable and delicious place. The Onsen on the roof is perfect, the food is incredible, and the rooms are nice (not too fancy tho). I would recommend having a nice rest here with someone you like

  We had an amazing two-night stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the private and public onsen at the hotel were wonderful, and the room was lovely and so comfortable. We had western style beds but especially enjoyed sleeping tatami style. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

  It was one of the best experience with nice meals and nice staff. Everyone were so nice that we felt we got the best survive! Dinner served at room and all of them were Yamagata’s famous foods cooked really well including sukiyaki. They can serve even draft beer to the room! Great old-styled Japanese hot spring.
