::I had a wonderful stay at this hotel while sightseeing in Japan. The location is excellent, being not too far from Sendai Station and close to good restaurants. The hotel is clean and quiet, and the staff is very friendly. Despite a slight language barrier, they went out of their way to ensure we could communicate effectively. The true highlight, however, is the onsen in the basement! It's small but perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. Highly recommend this hotel.

::Great Location & Free Drinks. Great breakfast & friendly staff. Choose your own pillow.

::Clean room, the lighting is a bit weak, but that's okay. There is buffet breakfast if you pay extra, and drinks. From 3pm - 10pm there is welcome drink which you can make by yourself. The staff is nice and helpful, I spoke Japanese with them, so not sure about their English. There is a small public bath which is nice if you like onsen. You pay at check-in and there is no check-out procedure.

::Great bed size and very comfy. There was no view. The women's onsen was hot. My husband couldn't access the men's side during the hours stated as being open, so that was irritating. Breakfast was decent. Mostly Japanese style, but that is to be expected. No parking. There's a pop-up lot where it's 800¥ at night from 2100 to 0800. After 0800 it's ¥100 for every 20 minutes. :/

::For a one-star hotel, the level of service and facilities are excellent. The AV projection system is a pretty cool feature of the room. Check in was painless (English speaking staff available) and so was checkout. Breakfast was great (complementary) and there's a hot spring bath on site as well. The bathroom may be a bit tight for some and any conversation heard in the corridor is very clear, but guests are usually considerate and quiet. Highly recommended stay in Sendai.
