The shop is a bit out of the main shopping street. Naturally, we would think that the place might not be very crowded, but there was already a queue outside before the shop was even open for business. Still, the service was very good. The staff was able to take our orders effortlessly while we could barely speak any Japanese and the food was prepared fairly quickly. The ramen was freshly made and the soup was fragrant. I also enjoyed the tuna origini a lot. Would definitely come back to try other ramen soup based.

Was slightly worried when I saw a queue outside, but being a ramen restaurant the flow of people is quite smooth. Ended up not waiting too long, and the before sitting down we already ordered our ramen. Broth was nice and flavourful, pork soft, and of course the egg was properly soft boiled. Overall great ramen for the price. Note you can only pay cash here.

Ordered 1 White Sauce Ramen with add-on soft boiled eggs (limited : 30 bowls / day) and 1 Soy Sauce Ramen. White sauce ramen was lighter on the taste buds compared to the soy sauce ramen. If you prefer to have a stronger tasting broth, the soy sauce ramen would be perfect! Price is quite affordable and many locals patronised the stall. Diners turn-over rate is pretty high and fast, so expect to wait only about 20-30mins for a seat. Very friendly staffs and chefs were a plus to my dining experience at Ramen Shodai :)

Had a small wait when we arrived. Moved rather quickly. The ramen was all delicious, but their real winner had to be their limited white miso ramen which has a set number of bowls. When it’s out, it’s out! Also had their staff lunch item which is a tuna Mayo over rice. Simple, delicious.

I was introduced this place from one of staffs at Uniqlo. The vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The food was so delicious and had a savoy taste after finishing this noodle that was based on white soy sauce. However, it was a little bit expensive for a beer can.
