::Love this hotel! Super clean and staff is very nice, respectful and attentive. Location is also only a 5 minute walk to the main area of Kusatsu Onsen The traditional Japanese beds are actually super comfortable, slept amazing! Private onsen can be booked at the reception for around ¥3000 for 45 minutes.

::Nice older lady who helps with luggage is very sweet. Staff generally tries to be helpful which is nice and rooms are WAY BETTER than Kusatsu Hotel. Conveniently located.

::Great Onsen experience! As foreigners I was worried how things would go with very little Japanese language skills, but the staff here was excellent. We all made it work and didn’t have too many hiccups along the way. In particular there was a delightful waiter from Malaysia who made our stay great. He told us about each of the dishes in the kaiseki meals and was really friendly. The baths here were awesome and clean. Also loved getting to pick my own yukata. They even have larger sizes if you’re a tall lady like myself.

::Stayed mid September. Very traditional onsen hotel with excellent Japanese meals and beautiful indoor and outdoor baths. Expected to wear traditional clothing while in the hotel and provided outdoor clothing for walking around town to the famous hot springs.

::this hotel is just 6 mins walk to the bus terminal and 6 mins walk to the main attraction hot spring city center. highlight here at the hotel is our waitress. she was the most friendly person we ever met. made our stay so warm and inviting. hotel staff generally friendly and helpful as well. love the traditional look of the hotel. we had the breakfast and dinner option here and definitely worth the experience. very traditional good served in the most beautiful japanese dishware. rooms could use an upgrade but there's so much to do here we were not picky. they have a hot spring onsen in the basement and it was amazing. has an indoor and outdoor part to the onsen and it was well maintained and beautiful yet modern.
