::You can hear every word next door. Loud and poorly insulated. Water shut off 12am-5pm. Staff seems not very foreigner-friendly or maybe they’re just tired of the influx of tourists. Not sure but terrible value and would not recommend.

::The guy at the front remembers you/and your shoes. This is an experience only found in Japan. They made the tatami beds after check in after I left the room. This is attentive and fantastic service. The onsen was great. The hotel was conveniently located. And the view was nice! For the price it was really great. Would stay here again in Kusatsu.
