::One of the largest room I have stayed in Japan thus far. My room in south wing S08 had a balcony which can view the Otaru canal and sunrise in the morning... The layout is good such that the toilet is separate from the shower and had separate door. There is also a bath tub where I can do hot soaks at night at my convenience. Hotel charges 1200 yen for parking each night but there are sufficient parking lots available. Only feedback form improvement: 1. The pillow are too small. 2. The room does not have Aircon mode. It was warm during the day. I requested for a fan. 3. The toilet where the WC was had a musty and sewage smell. 4. Only local channels were available. There was only 1 BBC channel where it was translated in Japanese. 5. Only 2 sets of washers and dryers available for guest use.

::It was a wonderful stay right next to the Canal and popular tourist spots🎐. The hotel is cozy and comfortable, with friendly staff and stunning canal views. The onsen is filled with hot water. While it has a bathroom-like atmosphere, everything is well-maintained, making for a relaxing experience.👋🏻😎

::This hotel located right next to the canal, you can go to the canal easily to take photos anytime you like. Staff there is also nice and professional. This hotel have 3 Wings ( South, North and Central), I stayed in North one but scratches are found on wall and desk in room, probably need some comprehensive maintenance. Later I realised the Central Wing should have been refurbished, but I think the price is higher if you book Central Wing specifically, I am not sure. Anyway the one night stay experience is up to my satisfaction.

::The rooms are shabby and dated, with furniture lined up against the wall and 18 inches of space to walk between bed and furniture. The tiny bathroom has an odd step up and ridiculously low sink and ceiling, towels are paper towel thin and the walls have marks on them throughout the room. The mattress is so rock hard our shoulders and hips hurt throughout the night. Never had that happen before! Would not even entertain the thought of using public facilities! For the price paid, at well over 37000 yen, expected more or at the least just ok.

::Parking lot near hotel, u can see canal from the room windows. Nice lobby interior, a lot of food near here, u can walk to the harbour from here and the breakfast is very good. U can enjoy public bathroom and massage chair for free
