  Although we were unfamiliar with the area in Nagasaki City and it was quite difficult to make hotel reservations as it coincided with the Obon season, we managed to secure a number of rooms. The bed was a double, so I was able to sleep quite comfortably, and it was also nice that the toilet and bath were separate. However, the room was small overall, and I had trouble finding space to store my luggage. This is a personal matter, but I use a large hard trunk, so it gets in the way quite a bit. There is an ice machine behind the front desk on the second floor, and you can get it for free. Breakfast was colorfully presented every day and was very delicious. All of the staff members are very polite and kind, and their customer service is highly appreciated. Especially the parking staff are working hard.

  I used it for the first time! The rating is about 4.3 stars. The room was private, clean, and had a sense of security. If you stay here for a week or a month, there won't be any vacancies! As a bad review, ①It would have been nice if the bath towels were fluffy and had a scent of fabric softener. ② The razor was a bit difficult to use because it had a reverse blade! ③Shampoo and body soap do not foam because the water is a mixture of hard and soft water. ④There was no water pressure in the shower, so it didn't feel like I was taking a bath! Well, I had this many complaints, but compared to other hotels, this was the only one that didn't have a unit bath, so it's highly rated! There are bars and restaurants nearby that are open until midnight, so I would love to stay there again (^^)

  Highly recommend this hotel as a moderate to low cost option for a well-located, clean hotel that is well managed. Checking out today before moving into a permanent apartment for the graduate school year at Nagasaki University. Stayed at this hotel for 12 nights so I can provide specifics: Virtually all the guests are Japanese - lots of singles with a few couples. Staff speaks primarily Japanese but with electronic help (iphone google translate) you can communicate effectively. I stayed in the newer section and the rooms were small but modern, with one 3-prong plug located near the head of the bed. Otherwise all 2 prong electrical outlets. Only Japanese breakfast is provided and it is similar day to day with slight variation. No other meals or room service. There is a small refrigerator but no safe. Nice coin operated washer/dryer area off the 1st floor elevator area with 3 sets of washers/dryers. Machines are pretty new. Washer dispenses detergent so don't have to buy any. One cot like seating area while waiting for the laundry. Be aware there is no telephone in the hotel room, with an intercom like phone at the elevator door area to reach the front desk. The staff here is incredibly polite and helpful. My 12 nights almost feels like a homestay so that gives you an idea of my impression of the hotel. Location is just a few blocks away from Tram Stop 20 for the Atomic Bomb Museum so the museum and Peace Park are within walking distance. Be aware that the hotel sits on level ground but the Atomic Bomb Museum and other sights are up the hill...and the hill is pretty steep. There is a large supermarket at Tram Stop #20 and a small Lawsons, and both are a quick short 2-3 blocks away. A large 7-11 about 2 blocks walking from the hotel away from the tram stop. Hotel protocol is to turn in your room key when you leave the hotel.
