It was a hideaway-like inn. We had delicious local ingredients served on a teppanyaki grill.

Renewal in March 2024. Previously, the main dish was oysters, but now it has been reborn in a new style called Teppanyaki Auberge. There was a live feeling to eating food cooked right in front of me, and I was able to enjoy it until the last dessert. Also, all 6 rooms were quiet. Each room has its own cypress bath or open-air bath, so I think you'll enjoy it next time you go. Above all, it used to be a three-story building with no elevator, so you had to climb stairs, but an elevator was introduced during the renovation. Personally, this made me the happiest. I would like to visit again if I have a chance.

I stayed for one night, and the food was very delicious and I enjoyed the oysters. Unfortunately, there were so many mosquitoes in the private open-air bath that I got bitten in the washing area, so I couldn't take a relaxing bath, and the water pressure in the shower was impossibly weak. I would like you to at least burn some mosquito repellent incense.

The oyster dish was so delicious that I couldn't forget the taste and kept coming back. I think it depends on the time of year and the timing of my stay, but I was very satisfied because I was able to eat surprisingly large raw oysters. The rooms are quiet and nice, and although I didn't stay in a room with an open-air hot spring bath, I was able to enjoy the hot spring slowly in the family bath. The bathroom in the guest room was clean and spacious, so I used both. Since I just gave birth and my child is still young, I won't be able to use it until she's a junior high school student, but I'd definitely like to use it again when my child is older.

Hidden gem oyster bar ryokan (under the bridge). Oyster and Matsukawa beef kaiseki was outstanding... really tops in quality and taste!
