  Had a good stay here, looks relatively new, mite b due to recent renovation. Had the pleasure of mtg with Area GM David Stanley De Brito (Hi David) , who helped me order cream puff without cream, hahahaha. So far tis trip stayed in 3 grand mercure hotel with upgrades booked under family friend Tanaka hotel Awaji,Minabe , never fails to impress me. Nxt will be mercure Nara Kashihara. Only improvement is if the rm's aircon can be adjustable.

  It was one of the best and recommended place to visit and revisit again, and not to worry language barrel as they have English speaking receptionist and she is very friendly & feel home ; the hot spring is highlight for this resort and it’s very clean and new

  I was thoroughly disappointed by my recent stay at this hotel. The staff was dishonest. Despite an injury caused by their carelessness, they failed to offer a sincere apology for the incident. In addition, the overall service quality was far below expectations: - I had to endure an excessively long line for check-in. - The elevators were so crowded that I had to wait multiple times before I could reach my room. - The dinner buffet required me to arrive at a specific time, but I spent most of that time waiting in line for food, only to be rushed to finish within a limited time. - Even at the hot spring, I had to wait for a shower to become available. Overall, the hotel was overwhelmingly crowded, giving me the impression that guest satisfaction was sacrificed in favor of maximizing profits. I will not be returning.

  Excellent food and beverage service and amazing staff especially Mr Shawal in restaurant is so down to earth. Healthy breakfast and quick room service to order food. Top notch facilities and ambiance is great.

  Room is spacious but furniture in the room are not much modern, and there are some stain on the chair and sofa. Location is surrounded by mountain and sea. No public transportation can reach there. Hotel shuttle (12-15 seats) to Ugata station is quite limited (3 rounds in the morning, 3 rounds in the evening, and need to book one day in advance. Breakfast buffet in Royal hall has variety food, including soft cream.
