::5 minutes walk from the train station. Shuttle service back to the station is available. We had a 12 tatami room which is spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner. Dinner has wagyu beef, fried oysters, tempura, and the standard sushi and sashimi. As we stayed 2 nights, we received a free gift at dinner of lobster and abalone sashimi. They have some rooms with in room kaiseki dinner but that is not available on most websites like Expedia and it's affiliates. If you want kaiseki, it's slightly more expensive but well worth it. I would have paid the extra difference but was not certain when I booked thru a us website if I was going to get the buffet or kaiseki. That's the usual problem when you book thru a u s website. You will have to look at Japan focused websites if you want kaiseki. Onsens were nice. They were mentioned in the 2019 Michelin guide for ryokans.

::Stayed with my family for two nights. Location is great, next to Toba station easily to access to Ise Grand Shrine and other famous attractions, yet with tranquility. The food and onsen are the best.

::Stayed here for a night and I loved it! The hotel itself is dated but is in great condition and the amenities in the room were good. The room was very spacious and relaxing with great view of the harbour. The onsen were great, and they have 5 small private onsen that is on a first come first basis. The food was OK for the price, but for the breakfast the view was nice with the sunrise.

::I stayed here with my American in-laws when they were visiting us from USA. They have some private baths, so people who are not used to this hot spring culture in Japan can feel comfortable. The room was nice and neat, and Mom and Dad were happy about their little treats and green tea set up for us in the room. We enjoyed yukata, the summer kimonos, too. The locations is walkable from the nearest station. There are some taxis awaiting as well, so it is very convenient. You can walk to Toba Aquarium and Mikimoto Pearl Island from the hotel.
