  Fine hotel close to the station of Uozu and a perfect destination to travel towards the Kurobe gorge railway station. The hotel is worth its money, you get more for your money than other hotels in the bigger and more popular cities. You see that the rooms are a bit older, but well maintained and clean (very important). For business purposes this hotel is fine too, cause you have a desk and proper chair. Watching your favorite television program on the tiny television in the corner is not advisable though. Breakfast is available from 06:30 in the morning and is quite basic. Or a Japanese breakfast or a Western breakfast, but bread, rice and miso soup is buffet style and all you can eat. There is an onsen available for hotel guests which includes a shower area, cold bath, outdoor bath and sauna. All included in the room rate! The free ramen at night time is nice as well, especially after your bathing session on the onsen ;) On the first floor, at the reception, you will find a coffee machine, free to use as well.

  Really worth the price. Uozu is the city I stayed in before going to other cities. It’s a perfect city than I expected. The hotel is also good. The room is equipped with many things. Onsen here is very nice. However, they said that free ramen starts from 21.30 - 22.30. I went there at 21.45, and the staff told me it was already sold out. I’m a little bit disappointed with this.

  I was allowed to spend 5 weeks in the Uozu Manten Hotel and was thrilled that the staff made my stay as pleasant as possible for this long time! Thanks again! Great service! English is not the preferred foreign language in this part of Japan, but the people there are masters of communication with hands and feet.

  Very Nice Place... Peaceful area. Nearby grocery store and indian restaurant Named Indira and very much near to railway station.

  Lovely hotel, even though the rooms are pretty cramped. The area around the hotel is full of little restaurants and cafes, as well as less reputable establishments if that suits you. Careful of the open trenches around Uozu proper, though: they have plenty of gaijin traps if you're not paying enough attention on your stroll around town.
