  I live in Takanohara, but one day when I went to Chikasho, the Takanohara branch next door had disappeared. I think it will be around February 2023. I feel that there is a tendency for banks to close many branches, consolidate services, and compete with online banks. I was worried about the service to begin with, so I don't think I should have high expectations for residents' services.

  The Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Heijo branch was located in Suntown Plaza Suzuran-kan in Takanohara, but it will be relocated to the 2nd floor of Aeon Style Nara in the Nara family in Saidaiji on February 6, 2023. It would have been better if it was within the Takanohara Aeon because the distance would not have changed that much, but relocating to Saidaiji would be a little further away, so it would be less convenient for residents in the area.
