::A Japanese confectionery shop located on the pilgrimage route along the Seta River to Ishiyama-dera Temple. There is a Japanese sweets section and an eat-in space. At the eat-in space, you can order Japanese sweets and some lunch at noon. “Tabashiru.” A sweet named after Basho's poem ``Ishiyama's stone is covered with hail'', which was written in the image of Ishiyama-dera Temple. In short, it's Daifuku mochi, but the highlight is the bean paste inside. Rather than processing Tamba Dainagon into bean paste, the amanatto beans are pickled in honey and then put into the bean paste. Tamba Dainagon is characterized by its large grains and chewy texture. It's a famous confectionery, so it's a must-visit when visiting Ishiyama-dera Temple.

I plan to go again many times 🍵 Kaki-gyo (shaved ice) is rumored to appear on midsummer days 🍧. The shaved ice made with matcha green tea and honey is not too sweet and has a strong matcha flavor and bitterness, which goes well with the accompanying azuki beans, and I always come back every year to try it. ☀️ In winter, I work my way up the mountain to Ishiyama-dera Temple while enjoying the wagashi and matcha. ☺️ The restaurant has a relaxing Japanese style atmosphere, perfect for enjoying matcha.
