::I'm not from Toyama Prefecture, but whenever I hear Toyama, I want to eat Tamten. I've eaten jade tempura from various restaurants, and this time I visited this restaurant. It looks the same as the previous restaurants, but the jade tempura here is truly exquisite. The softness is indescribably exquisite, and the best part is the sweetness. The one I use is Wasanbon, and the sweet smell is irresistible. It doesn't have much of a rough texture, but the beautiful grilling on all four sides is impressive. Strong tea and tamaten, it's heaven on earth!

::I learned that Toyama's famous confectionery is Owaratamaten, so I visited the Hayashi Seido main store. The people at the store were very friendly and I felt comfortable shopping. In addition to Jade Ten, there are also nostalgic lemon cakes. The staff at the restaurant asked me if I would like to try the freshly baked Tamten, so I did so without hesitation✌️ At first glance, is it an egg roll? Looks like I might be mistaken for that (lol) It's delicious with the aroma of eggs, marshmallow-like texture, and gentle sweetness😋I couldn't imagine it was made with agar. Also, if I have a chance, I would like to stop by.
