::When I got off the highway bus from shinjuku to Kawaguchiko station. It was very close, like a 2 minute walk to the hotel. There was also sightseeing buses that had lots of destinations and lakes. Their were two elderly man who were friendly and kind, then they showed us to our room. The room is new and had YouTube on the TV. I highly recommend this hotel. This should be a 5 star hotel.

::A nice old style hotel located right next to Kawaguchiko station for easy access to Fuji Q. There were 2 extremely nice elderly gentleman at reception, and at least one of them will be around for most hours of the day. You will need to hand your room key in every time you leave, as it is a physical key to your room rather than a keycard, but you will be fine as long as you are back before 11-11:30pm. The rooms were nice and had enough room for 2 big bags of luggage, and also had a small fridge as well. There is a microwave down in the front lobby which is okay to use. The elevator is quite small and old fashioned, so depending on your group size, it may take multiple trips to get everyone and their luggage to your room. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to stay for a few nights near Mount Fuji.

::Location was perfect for our Fuji hike. Easy access to the station. The size of the room was larger than normal so we were thrilled with that. We also enjoyed how basic it was and the nostalgic feel the place carries. The two gentlemen upfront are very sweet and engaged in conversation. We appreciated them trying to converse with us in English as we try to use some of our learned Japanese. They cleaned our room which was a pleasant surprise after hiking Fuji in one day. While we can hear other guests in the hall, we didn’t hear much after we slept so we slept really well! The blackout curtains help too. Would definitely stay again.

::Handy location, just across the Kawaguchiko station, lots of restaurants and shops around. We booked 3 x single bedroom, nice and spacious, mattress and pillows are firm and comfortable, lots of towels, very value for money, friendly staff.

::The hotel is walking distance from Kawaguchiko Station and multiple restaurants, convenience stores, and gift shops. The staff did not speak much English but was very helpful if you know even a small amount of Japanese. The hotel will not store your bags upon checkout, but you can pay for a coin locker or storage at multiple shops nearby. The hotel's doors close at 11:30pm; make sure to return before then.
