::Please keep in mind the following information: When we visited the store at 1 pm, it was already closed, despite their advertised closing time of 2 pm. They may stay open until they sell out of fish, so the closing time is not definite. We went on a quiet weekday with few tourists, and it seems they sold out of their fish before the official closing time. If you plan to try their eel rice, it might be best to go when they open. We drove for 3 hours only to find it closed, which was very disappointing.

::I went to this eel restaurant with my friend. It is about 10-15 mins from kawagoe station in Saitama. You need to get a ticket to be on a waiting list, and I waited around 1 hour. While you are waiting, you can walk around the town, which is an old “edo” style. Eel is supposed to be an expensive food so not cheap eats.

::its my 1st time to eat this kind of store unagi is one of my favorite japanese food is such a very fastatic taste and the unagi its so very soft and melt in you mouth the staff is very kind and friendly and so many customers go in this store i surely come back here ♥️🙏🤗

::Authentic Unagi Restaurant in a traditional house. The unagi was done to perfection, not too burnt and still moist inside. Highly recommend to eat here. Note that you will need to get a queue number from the door as they dont take reservations. They have limited seats. I arrived at 11.30am for lunch and took a queue number, but still had to wait 1.5 hrs for my seating. Fortunately the queue system has a website that allows you to check on the status of the queue, so I could still roam around the area before my turn.

::They open at 10:45 not 11 am. I arrived about 15 mins before opening and the number I got was already 35th. You can scan the bar code to check your status in queue so there is no need to stay around. I got seated around 12. Staffs are very friendly and the eel rice is delicious. Nice traditional and now crowded dining environment
