::Although it is an inn, you can only use it for bathing like a public bath. Rinse-in shampoo and body soap are provided, so you can easily use just a towel. A simple large communal bath and an open-air bath.

::A long-established hotel in Shiroishi. Quite a lot of equipment Old, pre-retro issues. The hot springs are wonderful, and the bathtub is one of the largest in the prefecture. The temperature is just right for slow entry. The open-air bath is a little small, but it has a sense of freedom. (Be careful of insects) The quality of the spring water, which is effective against eye diseases, is soft and you can take a day trip bath. Recommended as it is especially empty on weekdays.

::The entire building is undeniably old, but Mr. Nakai was kind and soothing. The rice was delicious too! I often end up eating more than I can eat at a ryokan, so I don't want to leave any leftovers, so I force myself to eat more, but I ended up only feeling more than full. (On the contrary, I am grateful) The amount of rice in the ohitsu is just right. You can also get refills. There was a review that the shower did not work in the bath, but the water pressure was a little weak, but it worked fine (women's bath) There is only one hair dryer, so if you are concerned about it, you may want to bring your own. The bath was hot, but my skin was so smooth!

::I visited here for a day trip. The lobby and the entrance are old and a bit musty. But the bath room is clean. There are both indoor and outdoor baths and both are spacious. The water is 100% natural hot spring without circulation, adding water, heating and chlorine. The water is weak alkaline hypotonic water. The water is clear, no sliminess, no smell.

::Very old inn with wonderful, friendly staff (though little English support for non-Japanese speakers); easily accommodated our group of 50 US teenagers; amazing dinner and fun dinner show (including karaoke); very nice sento (public bath) with a fabulous rotenburo (outdoor bath). Though it was a little more 'rustic' than other places we stayed, I would happily visit again.
