Cons: Checkout is pretty early, 10 am during the week. I asked if I can check out at 10:30 (most hotels allow extended checkout at noon for free) and they wanted to charge me for extra half hour! Not great service, need to think outside the box. Hallways were very hot and muggy, needs some AC. I called and asked for 2 more pillows, they brought only 1. Laundry service was handy although it took 1.5 hours for the dryer to dry a small load of laundry which is excessive. Pros: Was an amazing location, decent breakfast buffet with good salad and yoghurt options. The rooms are comfortable (I had to call to ask why it was so hot in the room, there is a small dial near the bed to turn which fixed the issue). Wish the bed was a bit softer, but the blankets were comfortable and the WiFi was fast.

Nice hotel with small rooms. Like the Onsen and great breakfast spread.

Friendly staff, nice onsen, Lawson is nearby. Free parking! Room a bit small, but not too bad. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is decent, pretty filling (buffet).

Very nice, front desk staff speaks English. Be aware tattoos are not allowed in their onsen, though if it is small and hide-able they are okay with it. Also, never thought I would have to say this, but if you are a tourist you MUST have your passport at ALL hotels in Japan, including this one. If you are a resident (expat) you can use your residence card and they are okay with this.
