::Booked two standard rooms with double beds for a recent 4 day stay in Kyoto. The major plus point is the convenient location of the hotel, just a 2 mins walk to reach food outlets and shops within Kyoto station. Rooms were no frills, for example no safe, and beds were stiff and pillows were too soft. Staff were polite and helped with check-in and luggage forwarding. Good choice if you want an easy access to an vital transport node and shops to make your kyoto stay fuss-free.

::Prime location and pretty spacious hotel. Right off Kyoto Station, easy to get anywhere from this location and return back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was available on site. Was grateful for the baths in the rooms!

::The hotel is situated DIRECTLY across the street from Kyoto station via the west exit, but I didn't hear too much of the commotion. Check-in was a bit challenging initially since it's done yourself and the card I wanted to use wasn't working until I got to the counter. They were slightly reluctant at first to check me in, but were able to do so and ran my card without problem. The rooms are a bit dated as others have mentioned and the bed was a bit too stiff for my liking, but I made do since I was really only here to sleep and shower rather than spend all day in the hotel of course. Overall, it was a decent experience!

::My second stay here. Consistent Miyako Hotel quality. They have implemented machine check in / out system. It is particularly efficient in fast check-out. Hotel location is just in front of Kyoto station in a couple minute walk. Convenience stores, ATM machines are available at the station 24hrs. No problem to find restaurants for food and drinks.

::This is a nice hotel located across the street from Kyoto Station. Being near the central station allows good access to the city, since the transit systems are so effective and affordable. The hotel staff are all very friendly and the place is clean. The price is fair. There are multiple options to take meals in the building, and if those don't satisfy, more options are easily reached in the nearby station. This is a great choice for visiting Kyoto.
