::This is was such a good find. Stayed here with friends and stayed in the 4-bunk room. Plenty of room for 3 adults. The outdoor bath was certainly put to good use. The cultural experience was provided by opting for the full-board deal. The food and service was enjoyed by my visiting friends. I love the traditional Japanese onsen so I used it to my advantage. It is very close to Gora station and the fickle train. Highly recommend this hotel.

::Rooms are nice and appear clean, but one cloth wipe reveals months/years of dirt. Wear slippers everywhere! The WiFi is nonexistent. And there’s no air conditioning in the room. This would be easily fixed if there were screens on the windows and balcony doors for air circulation.

::Parking space is good, both limited indoor and outdoor parking spaces, free. Room is clean and neat, with lots of towels, however the overall service to me is only marginally acceptable, e.g. no one greeted my family, and I took my luggage in and out of the hotel from my car. The onsan area is considered dirty, with lots of bugs on ceiling right above shower area. There is no outdoor onsan or rest after-bath onsan area either. Food is good, however, the servers are inexperienced, though friendly. Drinks comes with the meal with varieties. Worst worst worst is basically no wifi in hotel room, making it very inconvenient to everything. In short, it is good to try a new experience, onsan with westernized fusion food, in the expense of so-so service and onsan.

::The room is really spacious and clean. Veranda is nice but did not use it. The place has an indoor onsen it's clean and nice. The food is the highlight of our stay here. Japanese Breakfast was great, it's not a buffet but the taste and experience will brighten up your day. (The amount is perfect for me) Dinner was excellent!!!! No spoilers it's a great japanese style dinner experience. (They have wagyu) Also you can ask for rice if you need. If you stay more than 1 night you will get different breakfast /dinner on the next night. Finally the staff is really friendly and speaks English. Tea bar, there are many kind of teas here. It also have a coffee. Aside from that there are some alcohols too. Location is excellent, it's steep uphill walk to the hotel but they have a service van to pick you up from gora station The place is also close to a convenient store. And gora park. Visit gora park for free if you have hakone free pass. Finally you can ask for delivery of luggage for a fee in the reception. It is really convenient they will deliver your luggage to hakone yumoto station so you can enjoy hakone sightseeing without the luggage. If I will go back to hakone I will definitely book on this hotel again.

::Very nice place. The room was decent, and there is a balcony. The breakfast and supper they provided was very well prepared and served. Obviously, only Japanese food. I ate stuff I didn't have a clue on what it was. Some negatives they should address is it is not senior friendly. There were no handrails in the bathtub nor in the stairways. There should also be more information available on local transportation as well as a map of what is close-by. They have a few signs in English but it seems like it is every other sign. They say there is a bar but it's not a real bar. I assume they are calling a seating area next to the restaurant the bar? Finally the area is quite hilly and was a challenge to walk up and down. Seniors should consider another hotel if you are looking to walk around.
