::Cheap and cheerful guest house in central Kagoshima. Private rooms are exceptionally cheap and worked well for us as a couple. Beds were comfy and staff friendly. A very simple hostel but for the price you can’t complain, kitchen and lounge and fairly nice.

::Worst hotel I have ever stayed. 1. Poor quality doors, walls and windows - you hear every single noise (steps and trains!) 2. You can not cover the window - so the street lamps allows you to read for the whole night 3. 0 security - on check in the hotel staff do not check the id’s / passport 4. Very hard bed - impossible to sleep well 5. Very short bed - with 180cm my whole feet’s were sticking out 6. Bugs in the toilet

::For the price the place is fine. Location is probably the best feature. Very close to the train station and close to trama that take you to the main city area in 10 minutes. If you have light sleep probably not the best since The beds are super noisy. If you are sleeping in the top bed and you or your pal moves you are going to feel the bed is going to fall even though is just the sound of the slats. Also because is very close to the station you can hear the trains. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. So for the price I think is very nice.

::I came to stay here during summer vacation from Korea and it is always a cheerful and fun guesthouse. The owner's brother was kind and pleasant with no problems communicating in English. In my opinion, the owner is a cool guy and remembered me even on my second visit. I felt that the owner has many female fans and many repeaters. I will go back to see him again.

::Full of obnoxious guests who don't respect other guests. People kept partying, yelling and shouting in the middle of the week late in to the night hours past the silent time having started. The location is ok but you won't get a good night's sleep here especially with the futons being super thin. The whole place seemed very shady. The "reception" was just a small table in the middle of the hallway, with the staff being away and no instructions on how to check-in.
