  The most incredibly convenient location for sightseeing in Kanazawa! This ryokan is right in the centre of town and only a few minutes walk from Kenrokuen. The owners are wonderful people who will go out of their way to provide helpful info, food and sightseeing suggestions, and to ensure you're comfortable during your stay. It's also very affordable if you're travelling on a budget. We will definitely be back for another stay!

  This is a lovely little family-run ryokan just off the main street and the location is fantastic, it's close to everything. You can stay room only, or choose traditional meal packages too such asbrekkie only, or full board. The owners were so charming and helpful. Foreigners are very welcome and they will go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely time. Once Covid19 is over, we're going back for another visit and will definitely stay longer than 3 nights next time.

  Excellent lodging, clean, comfortable! Good, quiet location. Interior hallways smell like cigarette smoke, but this didn't bother me. Smell does not enter guest rooms.

  Home smiling, the place is well located. But ... the room was dirty (I found a lens on the floor) so not cleaned. The ceiling of the bathroom was moldy, provided with razors already used, glasses already used ...

  Good for a real Japanese traditional experience. Communication is not easy if you don't speak Japanese, but attendants do their best to help you. And Kanazawa is a wonderful city to stay for some spring days and enjoy hanami.
