::Currently on a tour of Japan. The room we are in (10th floor) is extremely small...too small in fact to be able to open our suitcases. We have had to move furniture in order to place one suitcase and the other had to be sited in the wardrobe. Not ideal when you need to access clothes. The 2 beds are of a generous size but are as hard as rock and the headboard is very uncomfortable. There is a tiny bedside table which allows no space for spectacles, water etc. Frankly I am very disappointed that our tour company Distant Journeys didn't consider our needs when booking rooms. If you are living out of a rucksack and can sleep on a board, then the room would probably be OK for you

::A luxurious 4 star hotel in the middle of the best zone in Kanazawa for accessing castle and gardens, lots of restaurants and a few bars too. Very large 16 storey building, modern, friendly staff and large well equipped rooms. Worth the money.

::Restricted view of rooftop machinery from 7th floor bedroom window. Very subdued/quiet breakfast in characterless banquet room. Breakfast and room otherwise OK.

::Rooms can be small, cooked breakfast could be hotter but the location is great.

::Service is excellent! The rooms are slightly old, which is more noticeable in the bathroom. Excellent location. Breakfast is good, but more of a standard variety with several japanese dishes
