::Visited on 2024/06/08 Before my son was born, I often went to eat in Kanazawa. First time in Kanazawa with 3 family members The store has been renovated and is now larger than before, and the kitchen location has changed. Order from your mobile using a QR code The herring set meal with roe was sold out, so I ordered the Shima Atka mackerel set meal.My two favorite side dishes were ham cutlet and stewed pumpkin. My wife had yellowtail teriyaki. The fish is grilled after ordering, so you have to wait about 20 minutes before the big Shima-Hokke appears. The flesh is plump, soft and delicious. The rice is also soft and has a gentle taste that makes it easy to eat with your chopsticks. My son is also eating the rice and repeating how delicious it is. I paid the bill with Charlene using PayPay, and when I told the chef about the meal, he remembered that it had been a while, which made me happy. Now that my son is 3 years old, I am glad that I was able to come to Kanazawa to visit the first restaurant that is not a family restaurant. ::Visited before 12:00, this popular restaurant was almost full. I ordered the yellowtail teriyaki set meal, which cost over 1,800 yen. Very satisfied with the taste and volume. The small side dishes and rice were as usual, but the main fish was disappointing. Before the renovation, the mackerel was bigger and fatter... but that's a shame. There are times when purchasing doesn't go well, so it's not a good decision to stop offering something...this is a decision that is entirely up to the store owner. (This is my personal impression) I have been using it recently (before the renewal). We serve seasonal fish, so it's delicious! I don't really like bento shops and set menu restaurants in town because they only serve fried foods. However, I'm happy that Kanazawa-san mainly serves grilled fish and sashimi for rice! I also like the miso soup that this restaurant uses. Everyone, please try drinking consciously at least once 😊
