  Pros: Great price, and in close proximity to Himeji Castle. They gave me a room with a view of the castle. There is also a rooftop terrace with a good view of the castle. Cons: Parking was limited and full upon my arrival, forcing me to park down the street. Furniture and fittings are dated. AC was loud to operate (think cicadas). The breakfast was very basic and not very pleasant.

  Affordable price, and the place is close to Himeji Castle. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. Just leave your breakfast coupon/ticket (given during check-in) on the box near the entrance to the dining room and you are ready to eat. Was able to check out and then leave our luggage to the staff to explore the city. ***Not for people who doesnt like the smell of cigarettes*** Beside the entrance is a smoking area and you immediately smell it. The smell of smoke greets you while you enter. Our room was on the 6th floor and it also smelled like the previous person smoked in the room. Its not overpowering so we forgot about it when we got distracted. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are nice. All in all a good place to stay when you are in Himeji.

  We have been traveling through Japan for 2 months. The hotel was the only bad booking so far and the most expensive. For 2 people very small rooms. Ok, we knew that. Air conditioning does not regulate, but runs 100% or off. That means 16 or 35 degrees in the mini room. The room smells damp. The location is the only thing that was really really good. Breakfast was ok. The staff, however, friendly as usual.

  This hotel is OK overall. Nothing so special but location is good as this is close to himeji station, himeji castle, also located 5 steps away from the busy shopping street. Staying here is good as we can save time by avoiding travel much. What the hotel provide is not extraordinary but enough to sleep and stay comfortably i didnt try the breakfast but it is cheap, only 1000 yen per person. You can see Himeji castle from roof top. But i dont know why my toilet a bit smelly.
