What’s good ; super convenient location, outdated but well maintained facilities, clean and spacious room. What’s bad ; The walls are really thin, you can hear all the noises from next door. Terrible Wi-Fi service, gets disconnected every 15-20 min. Quality of service, some staff are very polite and kind on the other hand some are just sullen and off-putting. Overall, “iffy” Stayed for 3 nights and paid ¥29,500 per night but not so sure if it’s worth the money.

We stayed for 3 nights last month (April). One thing we love the most is the location. There's an underground access direct from the Hotel (u need to take elevator twice, from B1 then to B2). It's very convenient when you got sheltered access directly to Hakata Station (especially during rainy/windy day). The room is kinda outdated however the facilities are still great. Spacious than standard Japanese hotel. Hotel lobby is very grand with high ceiling, the staffs also very welcoming even though we had a little language barrier when calling the front desk, but the staff quickly came and reached to our room so we could communicate using phone translator app. We also love the bathroom amenities given, the shower gel has a very nice scent. Shower water pressure is perfect. Hopefully, the hotel can be refurnished, because the location is the best!

I love the classic configuration of the hotel's rooms and common areas which some may dismiss as dated. Dated works well for me 'cos it's also spacious. Although it appears the rooms have not been refurbed for a while, they were spotless and all amenities work well. 3 things I look for in a hotel room are: cleanliness, well working air conditioning and good water pressure. Everything else is icing on the cake. I must commend all the staff we met for their professionalism and helpfulness. So why only a '4' for 'Service'? 2 things which I think can and should be improved. 1) front desk staff were not uniformly knowledgeable about processing tap pay as a payment mode - increasingly, travellers use travel wallets in the form of virtual cards on their phones and not a physical card. 2) when we checked out and were about to step into our taxi, front desk alerted the door man to stop us as we have not paid when in fact we have. This was quite appalling. Overall we enjoyed our stay of 6N and 3N. Special thanks to the ladies handling luggage who helped me to book our sightseeing taxis. The hotel is linked to Hakata station via an underground walkway which is very convenient on rainy and cold days.

A relatively spacious business hotel with a traditional flair when it comes to Japanese style breakfast! I love that you could get a hearty set of Japanese style breakfast with such beautiful dishes and plates at the heart of the city. The dining area itself was also spectacular, a very quiet setting with greenery outside, just what you need to start the day. There’s also a more western style breakfast buffet, if that’s what suits your fancy. The room itself was spacious though it’s seen history, well maintained nonetheless. Bathroom surprisingly large for its central location being right by the train station. I’d stay again if given the chance to re visit!

Not great hotel, it is old. Staff is helpful and speak decent English. Location is convenient, close to hakata station. Has underground basement connection to the station. Hotel rooms are medium size, bed is hard as it can be, I had a very bad sleep and back pain. bathroom had a bathtub which is always great, but overall looks dated. Room was clean. Breakfast is bad, not too many western options even in the western area. Internet WiFi is terrible, only for this the hotel deserves zero stars rating. Almost all days we had speeds of less than 1 MB. Overall very bad hotel and we will not be coming back. Beware of this hotel.
