::I check in on April 14. I got to my room and it was unbearably hot. The climate control unit said it was 26.8 degrees. I turned on the A/C (or so I thought) and went out for a few hours. When I got back around 9 pm, it was still 26.5 degrees (this is about 80 degrees Fahrenheit). This is obviously unsuitable for sleeping. I went to the front desk and explained, and they said that it was central air and they didn't have the A/C on for the hotel which is insane. I packed up my bags and left. I asked the hotel to refund the 8,000 Choice points I had used to book the room. They refused. To Choice's credit, they refunded the points when I contacted them directly. Don't stay in this hotel unless you like baking to a crisp.

::The room is old, and the lighting is like an old apartment, too. The check in and out are both self serving that is convenient for me. The location is just across Hakata JR station and close to subway. There are also many restaurants and shops near the station.

::Very uncomfortable experience. Beds were uncomfortable and hard. The AC was unavailable according to the staff, and the room was 25° C the whole night, despite it being 16° outside. Hot and humid room. Very thin walls; I heard everyone that walked by my room. I requested two twin beds on the booking app but was given a room with only one bed. Outlet next to the bed was clearly electrical taped together, and it didn't look safe to use.

::Perfect location but room too old. I stay for 3 nights. Our bedsheet was dirty on first day after that the next day room was cleaned. Breakfast is not too bad.

::The location is very strategic if you like taking local trains and the Shinkansen. Breakfast options are pretty decent and my fave part is the free flowing brewed coffee from afternoon to 12 midnight.
