::Hotel New Otani Osaka has an excellent location right next to Osaka Castle Park, with easy access to train stations, convenience stores, and restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and ice dispensers are available, which is a nice touch. However, there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The room feels a bit outdated, particularly the bathroom. The toilet system is slow, noisy, and can get dirty easily. The bathtub is very slippery, whether using the shower or taking a bath, and exiting the tub can be hazardous due to the risk of slipping. While the hotel offers an anti-slip mat upon request, I believe this should be a standard safety feature given the high risk involved. Additionally, the breakfast options are quite basic for a hotel of this caliber. Although the room itself is quiet, noise from neighboring rooms can be disruptive, especially when other guests are loud. Overall, while Hotel New Otani Osaka benefits from a great location and friendly staff, improvements in safety and amenities would enhance the overall experience.

::Iâm not sure how hotel ratings are verified in Japan, but this is the furthest thing from a 5 star hotel that we stayed in Japan. The rooms were awful and havenât been touched since the 60s or 70s. The service was even worse. After traveling in Japan for weeks and experiencing the amazing hospitality that the country has to offer, we were incredibly disappointed to find that this hotel is not welcoming and the staff were incredibly rude. I would look elsewhere. This is barely a 2 star hotel.

::Stayed in several hotels throughout Japan and most are gems. Our non smoking room had a very strong smoke smell. The overall vibe was tired in a way desiring either an upgrade or leaning in to the 1970s feel. Room service consisted of new towels only. The location and food are great. I might look around as there are many options in this area.

::This was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in Japan, the 5-star service has been unmatched anywhere else. The amenities and quality of the property are absolutely amazing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, loved my rooms view of the Osaka Castle.

::Very precious rooms, extra ordinary, cleaning one of the best hotel that I deserve in my life. The bathroom are the view is amazing. The place is five minutes from the subway and five minutes from the mall small mall it has all the convenience store. The safe is super excellent Recommended to everybody itâs really clean and worth money we pay. The price is quite expensive but itâs worthy. We have also we can see the old castle from the window as a shown in the photos.
