It was a terrible experience! The front desk is lack of training. When facing problems the only thing they do is say sorry, they won’t try to do anything to solve the problem. If you stay at this hotel, please remember lock all your things in your suitcase. Such as clothes, the towel you brought yourself….and so on, because the housekeeping might just throw it on the floor! If you tried to tell the front desk that you think this is terrible, they will make you wait and doubt what you say , find excuses that didn’t actually happen and try to blame it on you. After they know that it’s their problem they can’t come up with a solution that’s really helpful, cuz after all they don’t think that it’s their problem to solve! It’s not just convenient for customers to stay there because of the location, it’s also convenient for employees who work there. When there is a problem , employees there don’t have to worry ,because customers must solve it theirselves! Thanks for such terrible service! 服務非常差勁 このサービスはとても嫌な気分になりました

Good environment but poor service. I don’t understand why we should use the silly button for hotel room cleaning. We stay for 2 night and the staff tell us should use the card on the door to notify the cleaning staff. However, both cards tells DO NOT CLEAN THE ROOM. If we want the cleaning service, we need to press the super hidden button, or the room will not be cleaned. This is really illogical and irresponsible since room cleaning is the most basic things for the customer staying for more then one night. Besides, the attitude of front desk staff is really arrogant. I don’t think this kind of service is appropriate for a 3 star hotel.

With direct access from the train station, it doesn't get more central than that, however, after the station closes, it's hard to find the main entrance (have to go around the station to the main door, it took me ages to figure it out), the staff is also not the most helpful, not sure if it's because I don't speak Japanese, but I found some of the receptionists cold and impatient. The rooms are great, I had a pretty great view of the main street from one of the top floors.

awesome hotel, right in the station was so convenient. the staff were all very polite and accommodating. Was decently affordable even for solo travellers. Got a great view as well over the tracks of the station. Not noisy at all surprisingly, I could never hear the trains. Heavily recommend this stay.

As much as people complain, I love the area. The hotel, Metropolitan Sendai East, is attached to stores and the Sendai station. It is the first hotel you see if you're taking the train. Lots of stores, arcades, food, and bars really close to the hotel. The strip is a 5 minute walking distance from the hotel and the hotel has a nice private garage to leave your car. It is a busy and city(crowded) area, but that's the best part if you wanna see a lot in a little time. On foot, the area is easy to travel and much better to navigate. The service and staff are very respectful and easy to talk to. As long as you're patient, your needs will be met. The building can be difficult to navigate but there are multiple entrances that will get you to the lobby. Read the signs and buttons in the elevators, and you'll have no problem finding the lobby. The hotel is really nice and very comfortable especially for foreigners. There was a big tub with jacuzzi jets in our room which was really nice, and the shower included a chair. The room came with complementary water, slippers, and robes. This kind of stuff is common in Japan but still appreciated nonetheless. I highly recommend staying here.
