  This hotel has many highlights that make it worthwhile. From check in to dinner, the service was refined and hospitable. The hotel has stylish rooms with a shoe free area, rocking chairs and some with views of the castle. The common areas overlook the castle, and the onsen also overlooks the castle. Their is a lounge right outside of the onsen that also overlooks the castle and free drinks happy hour. Dinner was excellent and well presented.

  Very cozy and have a great night-view hotel. It is located next to Hikone-jō, you can sit on the terrace, drink the hotel entertains one free beer, and enjoy the beautiful night-view.

  Amazing property with great views of the castle. Close by several other sights and a nice downtown dining area all within walking distance. Staff were very accommodating and helpful and so very nice and polite. Would stay again.

  Very convenient location for train and visiting the tourist attractions in the neighborhood, including the eponymous Hikone Castle. Great food is served. Our room had a nice view.

  Hotel is located right across Hikose Castle. Great location for enjoying the castle and nearby attractions. My room was very tiny business hotel type room. There weren't even enough room to fully open my full size suitcase. And the worst thing was air conditioning. No matter how I set, it kept bowing air right to my face, which have me very hard time sleeping. Pillow was so cheap. Breakfast was Japanese style buffet. Practically no western food. Despite of good location, price wasn't expensive. However, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you must stay near the castle.
