::We had lunch. From the room, you can see the sunny garden after the rain, and it feels refreshing. The main dish is small salt-grilled sweetfish, which is perfect for this time of year, and is delicious. In the indoor hearth, the chef will watch the grilling and serve you the best possible conditions. It was steamy and moist, which is typical of charcoal, and the skin was crispy. The setting has a nice atmosphere, and the customer service is not too polite but pays close attention to detail. Hot things stay hot and cold things stay cold. The timing was also perfect. In the waiting area of the lobby facing the garden, birds come in to peck at the sunflower seeds, which is surprising and cute. There is a slope from the parking lot to the entrance, so it was a bit difficult for my mother-in-law, who is 91 years old, and my husband, who has poor mobility, so I took one star off for the location. This is a good structure though ☺️

::I stayed here just before the summer solstice, after the sweetfish season was lifted. I felt that the dinner was very delicious and I was also very impressed. What was disappointing was the sashimi of sea urchin and rock fish seasoned with kelp. I couldn't taste the flavor of either material. The other dishes are really delicious, especially the three sweetfish dishes. Also, the decorations, such as the bowls and green leaves, were very tasteful, and the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There was no TV, safe, toilet or bath in the room, but it was quiet. What I felt was not good was that there was not enough information about the hotel and the room after checking in, such as the rooms that guests could use freely, the location of the sink and refrigerator in the room, and the towels used in the bathroom. I was confused as there were no instructions for things like baskets to put things in. Also, the wooden bathtub was old and black on the inside, so I didn't feel like using it.

::I used it on a Saturday in May and was very disappointed. I had it for dinner and it was the worst dish. Trout sushi with a parade of rainbow trout appetizers, arai, carpaccio, and trout chazuke... Also, the salt-grilled rockfish may work well when grilled over an open hearth, but it is shallowly grilled, and the person serving you is advised not to eat the internal organs. For a moment, huh? I don't know what rockfish are eating, so I want to tell them to cook it properly. Also, the gori soup is sweet and only has the appearance of burdock root. Are the leaves included in the money? Well, if I go any further than this, it's probably not a Michelin star restaurant, but it's not a famous restaurant. Lost store? I guess the food was like this because it was an amateur group.

::It was a family event, and I only helped with meals. The customer service is polite but friendly, the building is well-maintained to give you a sense of history, and the food is excellent, where you can taste not only the ingredients but also the skill of the craftsmen. I know of other good shops and inns, but this one was by far the best. It's a little pricey, but the performance is even better. I would like to go there at least once a year to enjoy seasonal cuisine.

::A historic inn that has been in business for over 100 years. You can enjoy rare and delicious (1 Michelin star) dishes such as rockfish and bear meat. Although I visited in winter, the snowy scenery in the garden was very beautiful and time passed slowly. The service wasn't top-notch, but I had a warm and comfortable stay. Although it is not a hot spring, you can bathe in hot water made from boiling underground water with a pleasant scent of medicinal herbs. Overall, it was a very nice inn, but you may need to be a little careful when staying in the winter. First of all, there is no toilet attached to the room, so it's a little difficult to have to go out into the cold hallway. Also, I can't get a taxi. Due to the limited number of seats, reservations were not accepted in the first place, so even if you wanted to ride, you could not. It would have been nice if they could provide a shuttle service as there is only one bus a day. It wouldn't be a problem if I had a car, but since I was taking the train, I ended up walking 30 minutes each way on a snowy road with my suitcase in tow. Also, there was something that seemed to be the previous guest's personal belongings in the pocket of the hanten jacket, so I was a little worried that it might not have been washed, but it meant enjoying a country inn. Well, it was a very good memory.
