::Delicious local food at affordable prices. Just so amazing!! For 5 set meals, 4 soft drinks, whisky hiball and Large beer came to Y8,800 and we were so full. Friendly efficient service. Dinner starts from 6pm. Highly recommended especially Karrage chicken.

::Love this place, it's a family owned "shokudo" , the menu is simple, but delicious. Everything is made with passion, the "tsukemono" or pickles which accompany the dishes are amazing and original. The rice is great and the miso soup delicious. The prices are low and the service is good. This place is a gem in an area with lots of overpriced and average tasting restaurants.

::This was a surprisingly great find. From The outside you’d think this was a convenience based diner that served moderately ok food next to a train station - I’m so glad we went in and ate. It’s extremely good value for money and everyone here thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Very tasty and worth a trip down to the station for a large lunch.

::Very good food- hot, fresh and delicious! This restaurant is right outside Hakuba station and I would recommend having a meal here just because the food is so good (we ordered the Teishoku set). The portions are quite large, so those with smaller appetites might benefit from ordering smaller dishes instead of the set meals so as to avoid wastage. The staff is friendly, and the space has a familiar, comfortable, even vintage vibe to it. Definitely recommend stopping here either on your way in or out of Hakuba.
