::Large souvenir shop with a good selection of local products. I recommend the bottled green tea local green tea or the local tsukemono. It's always a plus when a shop has trash cans and clean restrooms. The staff was friendly and attentive when we had questions.

::Small rest stop with a souvenir shop selling produce from the local area and a restaurant serving a selection of food. I ordered the pork cutlet, super juicy meat with a nice crispy coating. Didn't have to wait long as it wasn't busy (around 4pm on a Thursday). Also noticed a few small market stalls selling plants, didn't look around to see if they sold anything else.

::Fun place to visit and buy local food - both fresh produce and derivatives. Fresh produce selection is interesting but not extensive. 切り干し大根おやき - yum, 紫米おこわ - super yum, おこわまんじゅう - tad too sweet, 野沢菜おやき - so-so according to my hubby.
