::Just used the day hot spring, but it’s very nice. Planning to stay the night sometime soon.

::Room is a little old but clean. Food is great. There's indoor and outdoor hotspring. Hotel offers pickup service and it's close to Mt. Tsukuba so I stayed a night and went hiking the next day.

::The place is quiet, relaxing & super clean. We arrived at the Hotel past 7:00 pm so, luckily nobody was there except me & my friend so I was able to take pictures.

::After hiking up Tsukuba Mountain (both peaks), it was quite late and most places had ended their day trip onsen plan. The Tsukuba Onsen Hotel was still open until 8pm though (last checkin at 7pm) so we were able to get a dip in. PROS: - Staff were very polite and attentive. - Bath was very clean and new - Open late CONS: - It was a bit more costly than usual - And honestly did not have the amenities (no lotion or face moisturizer, not even a free towel) for the price. - The place looks like it recently got a face lift on the outside, but the halls and room doors look quite old and dated and it was a bit spooky/scary walking down the hall to the bath.

::No hotel bus. Dont bring a lot unless you have a car.
