::You get what you pay for. Washroom/sink is very small and has an old smell to it. There's a free fan but you have to pay 100 yen per hour for air conditioning. No beds here: you sleep on a mattress on the floor (that's the way you sleep in a tatami bedroom) On the bright side, the grandma running the hostel is very kind and cooks good food! Go for the dinner and breakfast option if you book a stay here.

::The owner, the lady, has some quirks, but after dinner I talked to her while watching TV in the dining room, and she seemed like a nice person. The inn is like a private house, and all rooms have a toilet and washbasin, so you don't have to worry about bothering those around you because you can use it in the middle of the night. It's a quiet and not too tiring walk from Ibusuki Station. A convenience store opened nearby. Kagoshima's famous pork bone stew will be served for dinner. If you stay for consecutive nights, it's nice that they change the seared bonito and side dishes on the second day. The bath is a hot spring. The salty salt spring will warm you to the core. It's so comfortable that you feel like you're in a country house.

::20 years ago, I was touring and didn't have a place to stay, so I was introduced to it at the tourist information center in front of the station. The dish was homemade spare ribs. I felt relaxed and relaxed.

::Nothing but the bare minimum necessary. However, the bath is a hot spring. Even in the dormitory, all rooms have washrooms. It felt like returning home to a country house. Kagoshima's famous pork bone stew will be served for dinner. It's nice that you can change the side dishes from the previous day even if you stay for consecutive nights.

::Lady here is super friendly, but she doesn't speak any English so if you aren't able to find someone who speaks Japanese to book for you here it might be problem...
