::Stayed two nights with breakfast and dinner both of which were delicious, healthy, and beautifully prepared. The hosts were very kind and gave information and recommendations, as well as a ride to the snow monkey park. The outdoor onsen especially was amazing, and after thoroughly pouring the hot water onto myself I was able to enjoy the hot temperature fully. The location is good as well, we were able to walk easily to shibu onsen, as well as to the Kannon statue for world peace which were both very special experiences.

::This was the best stay we have had in Japan! We were able to have the private onsen to ourselves, which is unbelievable for the price. The owner was very kind, and even offered to drive us to the monkey park!

::Good experience staying here, with an amazing outdoor onsen and above-average food and excellent service quality. Downsides are: accessibility (45-minute from Nagano Station); old-style 2nd floor rooms that are a little dated. The rooms that we booked are spacious: it has a separate living area and a TV, with another smaller TV in a separate bedroom. It has enclosed toilet, but showers are in the three onsens within the property. Two are public onsens (alternately used by males and females at varying hours), with one outdoor type that is highly recommended (closest to lobby), and there other a smaller indoor onsen. The third onsen is a private onsen, that is on a first-come first-use basis. It is located within minutes walk from Yudanaka Station. There is a Lawson nearby. We walked along the river with cherry blossoms trees lining it. We ordered the dinner set with 200g of beef each, along with many dishes including salmon, sashimi, soba etc.

::Great location, close to the station. They let us store luggage and drove us to the snow monkey park. I'd recommended booking meals ahead of time. The town isn't that big and some restaurants stopped accepting customers by the time we went for dinner. The food was really delicious for the breakfast we did book.

::We stayed two nights in this beautiful, traditional and authentic Ryokan and we had the best time of our life! The place is magnificent, it makes you really feel the traditional Japanese culture, the onsens are so well maintained and beautiful. The food is super tasty and the staff was helping us understanding how to eat it, as it's not that easy if you are not used to it. I do not eat fish, which is a big part of Japanese traditional meals, but they had no problems preparing non-fish recipes for me. The owner is such a nice person, he gave us a lift to the monkey park and also a souvenir when we left. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!
