::Average, as expected in a small town. If you prepaid online, be prepared for an additional bath tax when checkin.

::What a delightful place! I stayed for a night and had a massive traditional room to myself, with a beautiful view over the mountains. The baths for common use are huge, too. The hotel is a bit old fashioned (maybe 80s?) but in the best possible way.

::If I could give this a zero star rating I would. We were welcomed into Hotel Yudanaka by a cloud of cigarette smoke. From there we were instructed to take off our shoes and leave them in the lobby, with no extra security and which the public had access to. Once entering our room we noticed mould on the walls and ceiling, soiled mattresses (appeared to be dried urine and other bodily fluids) and filthy air conditioning vents. The room smelt of wet dog and I felt dirty touching anything. The hotel offers WiFi which again does not work, even in the lobby. Oh and to top it all off there is no shower in the room. You share a shower with the rest of the hotel AND the public that are allowed to access the hot springs. Within 40 minutes we had checked out of this hotel and found another one in town. Biggest waste of money and a serious downer on what was a fantastic holiday. Do not waste your time staying here!

::3 week holiday in Japan and these 2 days at this hotel ruined a awsome trip for me. Our Room had mould up the walls and ceiling, my mattress had dried piss on them the heater/aircon was filthy. They seemed to care more about the public coming in smoking in the lobby and using the public bathroom instead of the guests. Please don't bother staying here you'll probably catch something

::Stay away from this hotel. Red Japan's travelers review (translated by Google). Hotel is located between nursing home and low income housing building. Entering to the hotel (no English sign on the building, it took 5 min to learn that is hotel) resemble getting to homeless shelter. Scratched wall paint, "hotel" lobby booth looks like tool room dispatcher's office on construction site. Do not believe pictures of this hotel, this pictures were taken 10 or more years ago, when hotel was commissioned. Then we arrived there and looked around (disappointed) we asked to show us the room with hope to find the better conditions there. The room did not look nice. It smelled strong cigarettes. We have decided not to stay and we told this the guy at the reception. The guy started to scream on us demanding money. Kids got scared and started to cry. We left reception in a hurry but guy jumped from his booth and started to chase us to parking lot yelling on us and threaten us to call his colleges. We just flew away from parking . Kids were shaking for next hour afraid that this guy would chase us. STAY AWAY FROM "HOTEL" YUDANAKA Tom fro USA, NY
