  The post office is located in a good old neighborhood, but depending on the time of day, it can get very crowded, with the three parking spaces in front of the building filling up. I think there are a lot of elderly customers due to the area, but the staff are always polite and smiling, and they are happy to talk to you and give you useful information. If you are leaving by car, it may be a good idea to drive slowly as there will be traffic and visibility is poor.

  I am a foreigner living in Japan and a fan of Shō Yonashiro of the idol group JO1. Actually, I wanted to visit this post office when I went on a trip to Okinawa in 2019, but I gave up because I didn't have a driver's license at the time. This time, I drove for the first time in Okinawa with my driver's license, and I drove safely and arrived at my long-awaited destination, the Yonaki Post Office. It was quite empty on a weekday morning, so I had a little chat with the staff and explained the reason for my visit, and they complimented my Japanese ability, helped me take photos, and gave me original goods as gifts. They were really kind and helpful people who were also from Okinawa and like me. The limited edition postcard that I sent to myself on White Day, which can only be obtained here, arrived safely at my home the next day. I would definitely like to visit here again on my next trip to Okinawa!

  There is a parking lot for 3 regular cars in front of the station. ATMs are also installed.
