::If you are looking to immense yourself in a local dining experience, this is it. Everyone speaks only in Japanese and the menu is only written in Japanese. The service is very friendly and patient so don’t worry about that. You have to remove your shoes before stepping up the tatami platform. We dropped our stuff at the table and then proceeded to order at the counter. They will serve the food at your table and you can pay at the counter after your meal. Self-service water dispenser is also available next to the counter. The homemade udon was thicker than usual and had a great bite to it. Simple, satisfying bowl of udon in an old-school local eatery setting. The beef was super yummy.

::If you want to eat real homemade udon this is your place. I tried the classic 肉玉うどん egg and beef udon. It was a little crowded but it was lunch time so it's understandable. All the menu is in japanese so bring a japanese person if you can't read Japanese.
