Perfect quiet place for a short getaway from the city, however I was quite shocking that I saw an old Japanese man who didn’t take a quick shower before entering to the onsen this morning. I thought all the Japanese is strictly followed the rules huh?

Very friendly English and Chinese speaking staff. The view from the lobby cafe feels like you have reached the end of the world. Strong waves lap the rocks just meters away. The room facing the sea is the one to go for. Tatami room with aircon and air steriliser which you will not need. The onsen water is so slippery smooth even hours after the bath. Left completely refreshed!

Clean hotel with great dinner and breakfast. Outdoor bath overlooks the ocean. The area itself is quiet and not touristy, presumably as it’s a 20 minute walk from the nearest station. Amazing area to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and look out at the Sea of Japan while sipping a beer (bought from the hotel shop at a very reasonable 300 yen). Just make sure you go during good weather, as there’s not much else to do in the area. The hotel has a courtesy bus which will pick you up at the station and return you when you check out.

Some parts of the facilities were a bit dated, but the ocean view and the rooms were extremely comfy. They also have an onsen type bath. It's also really close to the 友ヶ島汽船 terminal. Also the staff are extremely kind

Very nice hotel. We booked a room with both Western and Japanese influences. There's a free onsen with an amazing view on the sea and tomogashima islands. I'll never forget the sunset that I watched from the outside bath (no pictures allowed obviously, respect the naked people). The picture in this post was taken from our balcony. I did not try the food of the hotel but it is possible to eat in, just make a reservation beforehand. Very nice massage of 30min for 3500yen, the woman came to our room.
