::Helpful English speaking staff to offer us English menu. Casual dining, prices are very reasonable, eg, 1050¥ for a set. We ordered sets of beef and tempura which comes with udon and rice which are ideal for people who would like to try the best of both worlds. The udon can be done in hot or cold. Clear soup base from dried bone fish stock for the hot udon was simply delicious. The chopped shallots was separated in a small plate in case some don't like it in the soup. The udon can be upgraded to wheat noodle with just 30¥. Highly recommended.

::Recommendation by local! The udon texture is nice, broth is assari but flavourful, and classical music keeps playing in the background - a good udon place after long walk exploring Nara👍

::Came in as a family of 4 and was seated at a booth. Staff was friendly and an English menu was offered. I had the curry udon which I thought was delicious. Their karage and tempura was also very good. I can see how others may provide a lower review as the plain udon soup was just ok. Gave 5 stars as the staff was nice and my curry was really good

::Big portions and tasty tempura. I got the daibatsu udon which was a very large portion. Tempura was crunchy and there was a variety of items. Service was great, I'm assuming people must have had a bad staff member.
